Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Contact information. If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you include in your message.
• Account information. Apps with account or guest features may use an account identifier and store your display name, email address, or other information you provide. If you use a third-party sign-in service, we receive the identifier and profile information that service makes available. You may be able to use a private relay email address, depending on the sign-in provider.
• App content and activity. Depending on the app, this may include photos, entries, notes, expense records, scores, preferences, and associated dates or other details. Content may be stored on your device or sent to our servers to provide account, backup, sync, or sharing features.
• Device permissions. An app may request access to your camera, photos, or other device features when needed for a feature you use. We explain the purpose when requesting permission. Photos and other content may be uploaded when you enable or use features that require cloud storage or sharing.
• Technical information. Our hosting and infrastructure providers may process IP addresses, request details, device or browser information, account or device identifiers, and operational logs to deliver and protect the services.

How we use information

We use information to run our websites and apps, save and restore your content, provide features you choose to use, respond to support requests, resolve technical problems, and prevent abuse. We use device permissions for the purposes explained in the app when permission is requested.

We do not sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising. We do not use advertising trackers in our websites or apps.

When information is shared

We use service providers for hosting, account authentication, databases, cloud storage, and email. They receive the information needed to perform those services and are expected to protect it under applicable contractual and legal obligations. If you use a third-party sign-in service, that provider also processes information under its own privacy policy.

If you use a sharing feature, the information you choose to share is available to the people permitted by that feature. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect people or our services, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate privacy protections.

Storage and security

Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure.

We keep account and app information while it is needed to provide the service or until you request deletion. Support messages and technical records are kept as needed for support, security, and legal obligations. When information is deleted, removal from backup systems and provider logs may take additional time under their retention schedules. Limited records may be retained where required by law or needed to prevent abuse.

Your choices and deletion

You can manage device permissions in your device settings and use the privacy or sharing controls available in each app. Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it through the available controls or by contacting us. Turning off a permission or sharing feature does not by itself delete information already stored.

For apps with accounts, use the in-app account deletion option to request removal of your account and associated data. Uninstalling an app does not by itself delete a cloud account. You can also email hello [at] littleengines [dot] io to request access, correction, or deletion of your information. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You may have additional privacy rights depending on where you live.

Children’s privacy

These services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it as appropriate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services change. We will post the revised policy here, update the date above, and provide additional notice of material changes when required.
