Terms of Use

Using the services

You may use the services for personal, lawful purposes. You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of legal adulthood where you live, you must have permission from a parent or guardian. You are responsible for your account, your activity, and keeping your sign-in credentials secure.

Do not use the services to break the law, infringe someone’s rights, harass others, share unlawful content, interfere with the services, or attempt unauthorized access. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address misuse or protect the services.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photos and other content you create. You give us permission to store, process, and display that content only as needed to operate the features you use. You must have the rights and permissions needed for content you upload or share. You can request deletion as described in our Privacy Policy.

Our software and materials

Little Engines and its licensors own the software, designs, branding, and other materials we provide. We grant you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the services in accordance with these terms and applicable app-store rules. These terms do not transfer ownership of our intellectual property to you.

App stores and third-party services

App downloads and any purchases are also subject to the terms of the app store you use. Third-party websites or services linked from our services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are responsible for our services; third parties are responsible for theirs.

Availability and accuracy

We may change, update, or discontinue features. We aim to provide useful, reliable software, but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or permanent availability of stored content. Keep copies of content that matters to you. Chroment’s color measurements and scores are for everyday exploration and are not a professional color-calibration service.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement. To the extent permitted by law, Little Engines LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of the services, including lost profits or data. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer protections.

Ending your use

You can stop using the services at any time. For Chroment account deletion, use “Delete account” in your profile or contact us. Deleting the app from your device does not by itself delete your cloud account.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will post the revised version here with an updated date. We will provide additional notice of material changes when required. These terms are governed by Georgia law, except where the mandatory laws of your place of residence provide otherwise.
